Scalford Hall History
Scalford hall was built in the early 1900s for Major Mann Thompson who was a friend of Edward the VIII and Mrs Simpson and as a thank you for their many visits to Scalford Hall the King gave an ornate fireplace that you can still see today. Later in 1944 Scalford Hall had a new owner, the founder of Coleman's Mustard --Colonel Coleman. And now today a  hotel and wedding venue
